The bow
The bow sits at the waist, and its ties fall down the center of the skirt, adding a vertical line to the dress.

One shoulder, full pleated skirt
The asymmetrical bodice has one shoulder strap and no sleeves. Pleats at the waist open into a full A-line skirt, which gives the gown its movement.

Pale blue and ivory blossoms on gold-brown branches rise up the skirt and across the bodice, on a champagne ground. The blossoms echo the blue of the bow. In natural and interior light, the champagne reads warm.
