About the Custom Design Process

Every design begins with a personal consultation focused on the occasion, the setting, and the woman wearing the dress.
Together, we refine silhouette, color, fabrication, and overall direction to create a piece designed specifically for the event and intended to be worn beautifully for years to come

Following your consultation, we develop initial sketches that explore silhouette, proportion, and overall direction.
Together, we review and refine the design before finalizing the piece for the next stage of the process.

Curated fabric swatches are sent for approval, followed by a live fitting session to guide measurements and finalize material direction.

Following your fitting session, any final refinements are made prior to production of the finished dress.

Once the prototype is approved, the dress is completed in its selected fabric and delivered well in advance of the occasion, with continued guidance throughout the process.

Maria Pucci founded Gramercy Atelier to create a more personal approach to bespoke occasion dressing.
Formerly Creative Director of Quadrille Couture in New York, she now works directly with women across the United States to create dresses shaped around the event, the setting, and the individual wearing them.
Each garment begins with a structured design process that refines silhouette, color, fabrication, and proportion before the final piece is produced.
